Also inspired by a talk by Rick Beato where he discusses all the triads of the melodic minor scale. I thought it was really interesting that over the altered scale (7th mode) there was both a diminished and an augmented triad. I used this as a basis to start writing diatonically in C melodic minor. Keeping a drone note in C, i played a series of triads, and voila! “Some Triads.”
